Children’s Moonlight Festival 2026

September 12, 2026. The weather was just right for this year’s Children’s Moonlight Festival. Children and their families were treated to a lion dance and martial arts performances by Vovinam Quang Trung. Vietnamese opera duo Liêm Sương portrayed Chú Cuội and Chị Hằng Nga, the two figures of Vietnamese children’s stories. They led the children on a lantern parade around the Vietnamese Cultural Center grounds.

This year’s audience was huge with us running out of lanterns. We are grateful for the community coming out with their families. Shout out to our volunteers and our community.
