Vietnamese Heritage Day 2026
April 4, 2026 - Seattle, WA
The Vietnamese Cultural Center and community members celebrated Vietnamese Heritage Day with a proclamation read by Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson. Tukwila City Councilmember Jane Hồ, who extended the community’s gratitude with remarks following the mayor’s proclamation.
We welcomed warm weather for the outdoor festivities which included the traditional ceremony to honor the Founding Fathers of Vietnam, the Kings Hùng Vương. The audience also saw performances by Vovinam Quang Trung Martial arts/lion dance team, Anh Đào zither group, Liêm Sương Vietnamese opera, Thanh Trà dance group, BCC band and singers. We are also grateful for the Spokane Vietnamese American Senior Association for their Vietnamese History and Heritage Exhibit and Kim Tran for his 3D Bee display.
Thank you to everyone who attended the celebration. This event was supported in part by 4culture and the volunteers of the Vietnamese Cultural Center. We are grateful for your presence and your time.
