Tết Bính Ngọ - Year of the Horse 2026
February 21, 2026. Community members welcomed the Year of the Horse with the Vovinam Burien lion dance team. Speakers included Seattle City Council Member Rob Saka, Tukwila City Council Member Jane Ho, Elder Song Xuyên Võ Huyền, Vietnamese Cultural Center Director Lee Bui. All extended their well wishes to the community for the new year.
The event was lively even though the rain and cold overshadowed the fesitivities. We are grateful to everyone who attended despite the weather. Thank you to our volunteers for helping us get setup.
